Morpheus8 is a device that combines microneedling with radiofrequency technology for fractional resurfacing that stimulates collagen production. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, the building blocks will reorganize themselves in a natural anti-aging process. Radiofrequency energy heats the deep layers of the skin in a controlled manner to revitalize the collagen. This treatment helps to improve skin complexion and texture for a more radiant and youthful appearance.

-Under 18 years of age
-Pacemaker or internal defibrillator or any electronic Implant such as glucose monitor
-Permanent implant in the treated area such as metal plates and screws, silicone implants or an injected chemical substance
-Current or history of cancer, especially skin cancer, or pre-malignant moles
-Impaired immune system due to immunosuppressive diseases such as AIDS and HIV, or use of immunosuppressive medications
-Severe concurrent conditions such as cardiac disorders, epilepsy, uncontrolled hypertension, and liver or kidney diseases
-A history of diseases stimulated by heat, such as recurrent Herpes Simplex in the treatment area

-local pain, skin redness (erythema), swelling (edema)
-damage to the natural skin texture (crust, blister, burn)
-change of skin pigmentation (hyper- or hypo-pigmentation)
-scarring
Although these effects are rare and expected to be temporary, redness and swelling may last up to 3 weeks, and are part of a normal reaction to the treatment.
Burns and resulting pigmentation change and scarring are rare and may happen in dark skin that is not taken care according to instructions.
Tiny scabs appear on the face for a few days as part of a normal healing, however make-up may be applied as soon as 1-3 days after the session to mask them and residual redness.
Any adverse reaction should be reported immediately.
-Avoid applying any product to the treated area that is unsuitable for an open wound. If possible, do not apply any products for the first 12-24 hours. The treatment creates open channels in the skin, which can inadvertently serve as an entry point for such products. If this occurs, medication/active ingredients can penetrate the skin and lead to an allergic reaction, prolonged healing time, excessive swelling and granulomas.
-Alastin post-care products will be used to enhance healing and results.
-Allergic reactions due to topical anesthetics or posttreatment products application may require administration of special care to minimize skin reaction.
-It is best to void the application of make-up and other outside products for the first 3 days after while the craters close up.
-Downtime is minimal and ranges from 1-5 days, a longer time for superficial treatment and higher energy levels. Some patients hardly show any skin surface response despite future good results.
Most patients achieve optimal results with three to four initial Morpheus8 treatments spaced around 4 to 6 weeks apart. This allows time for wound healing and new collagen growth between sessions.
Those with minor skin changes like enlarged pores or fine lines often see satisfactory results after one or two treatments.
Patients with more serious issues including deep wrinkles, sagging skin or severe acne scarring generally demand three or even four sessions for transformative improvements.
After the initial series, some patients only require:
Your provider will advise the most appropriate maintenance schedule based on your results from the initial series, your skin’s resilience and your specific cosmetic goals.
